Let's do lunch! Or not?

I know workers in Janesville who eat lunch at restaurants much more frequently than I do. In fact, in the past six months, I could count the number of times I've eaten lunch out on one hand.

I live only a mile from home, and that makes it easy to drive or bicycle home for lunch and visit with my wife, who's now retired. I often eat a sandwich or leftovers—which I enjoy far more than some people I know. Sometimes, the leftovers make the sandwich.

Another factor is cost. My budget simply doesn't have wiggle room to eat lunch out too often, regardless of how inexpensive the restaurant might be.

Here are the last few places I've eaten lunch out in Janesville: El Jardin on Center Avenue, The Looking Glass tavern on North Main Street, Wedge Inn East on East Milwaukee Street and Luke's Deli on Mount Zion Avenue.

Where do you go for lunch, and how frequently do you eat lunch at restaurants?
