BLAINE, Minn.--The Janesville Jets’ tough start to the NAHL season continued on Friday afternoon.

Bismarck scored four unanswered goals in the third period to come from behind and top Janesville, 5-2, at the NAHL Showcase.

Trailing 1-0 after the first period, the Jets tied the game on Adam Winborg’s goal in the opening minutes of the second. Jordan Himely’s goal at 1:37 of the third gave Janesville its first lead of the game.

But the Bobcats’ offense sprang to life from there. They tied the game just 64 seconds after Himley’s goal and Filip Starzynski’s power-play goal at 4:09 of the third gave them the lead for good, and they went on to score twice more.

Reed Kinsey stopped 20 shots for Janesville in the loss.

The Jets close out the season-opening Showcase at 12:45 p.m. today against Amarillo.
