JANESVILLE -- The Bradley family of Beloit is just about as immersed in the school system as any family can get, having their youngest of six starting kindergarten this year while the oldest enters college.

And with the help of state-funded vouchers, five of the Bradley children, stretching from kindergarten through 12th grade, are attending Rock County Christian School.

Rock County Christian, with a preschool and elementary school in Janesville and a middle and high school campus in Beloit, is among 25 schools statewide that qualified to participate in the new voucher, or Parental Private School Choice Program.

"It's meant the world for us," Dan Bradley said. "We feel blessed to have our children receive the vouchers because Rock County Christian School is such a great school. It's a lot harder on the kids right now because they are playing catch-up, but they all are doing really good. We've always wanted our kids to have access to a smaller class size. This school has a lot of what so many parents in the area have been looking for, but could never afford."

In order to be selected, the school had to be among the top schools in the state in terms of voucher application volume.
