JPD to offer S.A.F.E. training Oct. 30

JANESVILLE-The Janesville Police Department will conduct S.A.F.E. training for women from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, 1000 Mineral Point Ave.

S.A.F.E. training, which stands for self-defense, awareness, familiarization and exchange, is taught by police officers and is designed to educate women on how to protect themselves from crime by introducing them to physical training methods.
