Meeting to give details on Highway 51/Cranston project
TOWN OF BELOIT—The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting to discuss the preliminary design for safety improvements to the Highway 51 and Cranston Road intersection.
The meeting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in the conference room of Beloit Town Hall, 2871 S. Afton Road. State project representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
The proposed improvements include adding a left-turn lane for southbound Highway 51 traffic and updating the traffic signals.The improvements are scheduled for 2016 construction.
