JANESVILLE—Scheduling conflicts have pushed the annual Rock and Walworth County Fast Pitch Competition into next year.

The competition had been scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 2, at UW-Whitewater.

James Otterstein, Rock County's economic development manager, said the competition likely will be rescheduled for late next spring.

The annual competition allows entrepreneurs to pitch business ideas to a panel of business owners. The competition is also open to students, and cash prizes are awarded to winners.
