SUN PRAIRIE—Janesville Craig's boys soccer team is still in search of its first Big Eight Conference win.

Sun Prairie scored twice in the second half Thursday night in pulling away for a 3-1 win.

Craig (4-4-0, 0-4-0) tied the game in the first half on Hosai Ceballos' goal at the 25-minute mark but could not generate anything offensively the final 55 minutes of the game.

“Our biggest problem right now is keeping the pace in the second half,” Craig coach Mike Hook said. “We lost control a little bit of the midfield the second half and played tired, at times.

“We can challenge the teams we're playing, but we're not at their level yet for the entire game.”

Craig, which got seven saves from Austin Meier, plays at Union Grove in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon.
