Despite a quick start, Janesville Parker’s volleyball team couldn’t crack the victory column Tuesday night.

Madison Memorial rallied from a one-game deficit for a 3-1 Big Eight Conference win over Parker.

The Vikings won the first game 25-17 but lost the next three.

“Once Memorial got the momentum, we could not get it back,” Parker coach Kathy Bullis said. “The most important thing our girls have to remember is to have confidence and believe they can win. When we do that, we will start having more success.”

Bullis praised the play of setter Claire Fox. The senior had three aces, nine digs and 15 assists.

Parker hosts an invitational Saturday.
