Your Views: President isn't being honest about Syria

I was so ticked off when I heard the president mimic the Bush administration's lies with suggestions Syria could attack our allies with chemical weapons that I almost overlooked the big lie: At what point did he mention that the U.S. would secure Syria's chemical weapons?

All we hear is there will be a “limited” attack on Syria.

You just fell off the turnip truck if you think the president is being honest about the agenda here because the only way to “secure” those chemical weapons is to overthrow Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and put troops on the ground to get them.

But here's the other thing they don't tell you: Neither Syria nor Egypt has signed a chemical weapons treaty, so it's perfectly legal for Syria to use them in its own country. The only one violating international law is the U.S. if we attack Syria unprovoked.
