Ryan to speak at Minn. think tank event
MINNEAPOLIS — Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan will speak at a fundraiser for a conservative Minnesota think tank next month.
Ryan is scheduled to appear at a $5,000-per-person private roundtable at 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 26, followed by a $100-per-person luncheon from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m.
The event is being held at the downtown Minneapolis Hilton and is a fundraiser for the Twin Cities-based Center of the American Experiment.
Ryan chairs the House Budget Committee and was Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's running mate last year.
