MILTON—The Milton Raptors are one win away from playing for the Rock River League championship.

Sean McCann threw a complete-game five-hitter Saturday to lead Milton to 5-1 win over Clyman in a Southern Division playoff game.

Milton (17-3) plays at Neosho today and can advance to the best-of-three championship series with a win. A loss will send the Raptors back to Neosho next weekend.

The Raptors jumped on the visitors early Saturday. Josh Shere’s RBI double gave Milton a 1-0 lead in the first and a 3-run second pushed the lead to 4-0.

McCann struck out five and allowed three walks.

Joe Shere is expected to start today against Neosho.
