Janesville Parker continued to add accomplishments to their girls golf season by winning the Beloit Scramble at Krueger-Haskell Golf Course.

The Vikings won by four strokes over second-place Sun Prairie, 64-68.

Janesville Craig was fourth with 72.

“We’re very happy the way things went,” Parker coach Mary Ross said.

Taylor Wyss contributed two birdie putts, which included an 18-footer on No. 1 and a 15-footer on No. 9.

“That birdie on No. 1 set us on the right pace,” Ross said.

Freshman Emily O’Leary, playing in her first varsity meet, also had birdie putts on No. 4 and No. 18.

Micayla Richards chipped in from just off the green for a birdie on No. 13.

Kailey McDade and Lindsay Ahrens rounded out the Parker group.

The Vikings begin Big Eight Conference competition with a double dual meet against Madison West and Madison East at Odana today.

Craig beings Big Eight play at Sun Prairie today.

Both Janesville teams will compete in the Milton Invitational best-ball tournament Thursday at Oak Ridge.
