EAB confirmed in Lafayette Township

The emerald ash borer has been confirmed in the Town of Layfayette, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

Walworth County was already under quarantine for EAB. The first municipality in the county to have been confirmed for the ash borer was the Town of Walworth in June of 2012. So far, EAB has been confirmed in 15 municipalities in Walworth County. For a complete list of those communities, and a list of municipalities statewide where EAB has been confirmed, see HERE.
