CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa--Another night, another walk-off.

For the second straight game, Cedar Rapids used a run-scoring hit in the bottom of the ninth inning to end a game against the Beloit Snappers.

Adam Walker doubled home Niko Goodrum as the Kernels stormed back from a five-run deficit to beat the Snappers 6-5.

Beloit built its 5-0 lead over the first four innings. It got three runs in the third, thanks mostly to RBI doubles from Chris Bostick and Ryan Mathews.

Cedar Rapids got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth inning, but did most of its damage in the sixth. Trailing 5-2, Joel Licon belted a three-run home run to tie the game and set up the ninth-inning heroics.

Tyler Vail was saddled with the loss for Beloit, which will wrap up its road trip with a third and final game at Cedar Rapids tonight before returning home for four games with Wisconsin.
