Beloit Snappers batter Burlington Bees

BURLINGTON, IOWA—The Beloit Snappers broke out of a monthlong scoring drought in a big way Sunday afternoon.

Beloit hit five home runs, including two each from Matt Olson and Daniel Robertson, in a 10-5 Midwest League win over Burlington.

Olson and Robertson drove in four runs each as Beloit won its second straight following a six-game losing streak.

Andres Avila picked up the win despite allowing four runs in five innings.

The two teams wrap up the three-game series tonight before Beloit heads to Cedar Rapids for a three-game series beginning Wednesday.
