— CHRISTOPHER J. WRIGTEL, 34, 924 E. Grand Ave., Beloit, at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday at Janesville Police Department on suspicion of theft of between $5,000 and $10,000 linked to an earlier investigation by Janesville and Beloit police of reported drug crimes and theft.
Intoxicated driving arrests
— VALENTINA S. PINKHASIK, 62, 615 Park Ave., Janesville, at 6:02 a.m. Wednesday at Court and Pearl streets, Janesville.
-- DUMPSTER FIRE reported at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at Alter Recycling, 1753 Beloit Ave. Cause remains undetermined but doesn't appear to be suspicious. Damage estimated at $1,000.
— SAMUEL A. MEIER, 33, Madison, at 2:22 a.m. Wednesday on Cottage Road at Evergreen Street in the town of Decatur on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia used for methamphetamines, non-registration of a vehicle, mandatory seatbelt violation and no insurance. A Brodhead man in the vehicle also was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia used for methamphetamines.
— PAUL B. BERNIER, 54, of 7859 S. Scepter Drive, No. 15, Franklin, charged with felony bail jumping. He is accused of not appearing for a June 21 court date.
— DAMON K. HONEA, 22, of 3914 Camelot Drive, No. 3F, Decatur, Ill., charged with felony battery, bodily harm.
— MATTHEW C. JORDAN, 20, of 401 Davis St., Elkhorn, charged with substantial battery as a party to a crime and disorderly conduct. He is accused of beating a man in a July 20 incident.
— BLAKE F. NOLIN, 19, of N6535 Birch Road, Elkhorn, charged with substantial battery as a party to a crime and disorderly conduct. He is accused of beating a man with a baseball bat in the July 20 incident with Jordan.
— BRIAN R. KOEHLER, 32, of 1770 County Road Nn, Elkhorn, charged with escaping from custody at the Walworth County Jail.
— EDUARDO DOMINGUEZ-BELTRAN, 21, of 418 Beloit Street, No. 7, charged with physical abuse of a child, intentionally causing bodily harm. He is accused of punching his sister in the chest and face.
