Reading newspapers and online sources as well as listening to TV and radio media reports, one easily becomes DIScouraged about human nature.  I remember the total shock when I read the headline in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel on Friday, June 1, 2012, “75-year-old man charged with fatally shooting boy, 13.”  If you want to re-read this article, you can use that link.  TRAGIC DEMONSTRATION of BAD NEWS!

On the other hand, reading Jim Stingl’s column, “In My Opinion” in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel today provided GOOD NEWS, “Mom tracks down 'mystery man' who gave son baseball at Brewers game.”  Click that link to read the whole column and see the dramatic picture that the mother took of the “mystery man” who gave her 5 year-old son the souvenir baseball.  Read the column and find out who the “mystery man” is.  Heartening story!

Don’t miss reading this wonderful testimony as to the reality of healthy persons among us!  What a boost for my AUDACITY of HOPE!!  What is YOUR reaction?

And the whole GOOD NEWS scenario comes to a close with the “mystery man” encouraging the mother to “pass it along” or to “pay it forward.”  Have YOU experimented with PAY IT FORWARD recently?  I prize reading the numerous reports of such scenarios!  How about sharing YOUR report on PAYING IT FORWARD with the consequences.  I invite YOU to share your experience through a COMMENT.  I’ll be reading the comments.

Here we go…
