FARMINGTON—T.J. Klawitter and Dave Sagitis capped off an impressive weekend on the mound for the Milton Raptors on Sunday.

Just one day after the Raptors clinched the Rock River League’s Southwest Division, Klawitter and Sagitis limited Farmington to just five hits and one run in a 12-1 road victory that ended after eight innings due to the run rule.

“T.J. threw real well; he had good velocity and got his breaking ball over the plate,” Milton manager Doug Welch said. “We had just one earned run in the entire weekend.”

Klawitter struck out 10 hitters and walked just one in five innings. Sagitis struck out five and walked two in three innings.

Scott Steinke and Joe Shere each had three hits for Milton, including a double by Shere.

Milton (12-2) hosts Clyman on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Helenville on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the final game of the regular season.
