I am writing to recognize Kutter Harley-Davidson for holding the Rock County Dryhootch fundraiser July 20 with the Heartland Comedy Express. Kutter is a great business because it is all about giving back to the community by supporting our local nonprofit organizations, including the Rock County Dryhootch, which is an organization providing a non-alcohol-related social gathering, counseling services and community networking for local veterans.

As a volunteer and veteran with the Rock County Dryhootch, I am truly grateful for the amount of work and donations that were voluntarily provided in holding our first fundraiser, including advertising, networking, facilitating and guiding the event. We appreciate the donated HOG chapter T-shirts, Harley-Davidson wall art, anniversary frame and key chains that helped us raise money in our raffle. We are thankful for the Rudi Pavilion, tables, chairs, lights, stage and ice that we needed to facilitate a successful event. Most of all, we appreciate Kutter’s staff in guiding and advising us how to market, advertise and set up the entire fundraiser.

We truly do appreciate the Italian House, all of our volunteers, and sponsors in Janesville, Whitewater and Beloit in making the Rock County Dryhootch fundraiser possible. These include the National Flag Store, Sweet Spot Café, Frito-Lay, Hampton Inn, the Red Cross, Pepper Palace, A Glo Spa & Salon, Minuteman Press, True-Laser, Anytime Fitness, Hometown Buffet, Dunkin’ Donuts, Sam’s Club and the Heartland Comedy Express.
