Delavan man suspected in oxycondone robberies appears in federal court
MADISON A Delavan man was in federal court Wednesday, charged with a string of robberies at pharmacies around Wisconsin to steal the prescription painkiller oxycodone, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Tony D. Taylor, 35, is suspected of nine robberies taking place between Jan. 10 and March 29 in Madison, Fitchburg, Waunakee, Monona and Verona.
If convicted, he could receive a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison on each count
Taylor was arrested April 9 in DeForest.
Madison police believe he’s a suspect in more than 20 incidents from Illinois to Nebraska.
