Trailing 3-2 in the top of the eighth, the Snappers scored three runs en route to the 5-3 win.

Beloit has won two of three games in the series and moved back to .500 (23-23) in the second half of the Western Division standings.

Rene Leveret’s two-run single in the eighth proved to be the game-winner for Beloit. Leveret also hit a two-run homer in the fourth to tie the game at 2-2.

Michael McCardell (8-3) picked up the win with eight solid innings, while Santos Arias worked a perfect ninth in earning his second save.

The final game of the four-game series is at 6:30 tonight.
