Seth Dean, 20, of 1646 S. Walnut St., Janesville, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on charges of underage drinking, burglary, criminal damage to property and resisting an officer, Lt. Terrence Sheridan said.

Dean is suspected of using a board to break a door window and enter the building at 1019 Kellogg Ave., he said.

Police received a description of a suspicious person in the area and set up a perimeter around the building after searching it. They caught Dean when he returned to get his bicycle, cigarettes and soda, Sheridan said.

“He was cut up, scraped up, and there was blood at the scene. He wasn’t cooperating when he was taken into custody just before 11 p.m.,” he said.

Dean remains in custody at the Rock County Jail, where he made his initial court appearance at 3 p.m. Monday. does not condone or review every comment. Read more in our Commenter Policy Agreement
