The parade starts at 3 p.m. near Seventh Street and ends at Veterans' Memorial Park. A carnival and dance are also part of the celebration. Food and drink will be for sale throughout the day.

The day begins with a cardboard boat race in Delavan Lake and ends with fireworks. Other events include a horseshoe tournament, bingo, a variety of children's activities and a dance with the Stateline Playboys. Food and drink will be for sale throughout the day.

The beer tent and food fair plus inflatable bounce house start at 1 p.m. The Anything that Floats contest starts at 2 p.m. and the Janesville Idol contest starts at 4 p.m. (sign up at Aqua Jays stage at 3 p.m.).

The Rock Aqua Jays water ski show will begin at 7 p.m. and the raffle drawing will be at 8:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk. Spin Cycle will provide live musical entertainment in the beer tent at 5:30 p.m. and after the ski show.

Geneva National Golf Club, 1221 Geneva National Avenue South, from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, is hosting a traditional holiday barbecue picnic in the pavilion with inflatable games and more on the driving range. Fireworks start around 9:15 p.m.

Geneva Ridge Resort, W4240 Highway 50, on Wednesday, July 4, is hosting a picnic, bounce house, games, live entertainment and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Every day includes a carnival, beer tent and Taste of Milton at Schilberg Park.

Friday includes a beanbag tournament at 6 p.m., softball at 7 p.m., and Milton Mayhem football at 8 p.m.

Saturday features a kickball tournament at noon.

Wednesday has the parade at 1 p.m., helicopter rides from 2 to 7 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.

-- Sunday: The festival opens at noon. The Minneiska Ski Show is at noon on Cravath Lake. Live music at 1 p.m.

-- Monday: Carnival from 5 to 11 p.m.

-- Tuesday: Festival opens at 5 p.m. Live music starts at 6 p.m.

-- Wednesday: Car show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Whippet City mile run at 9:45 a.m., parade at 10 a.m., festival opens at 10 a.m., ski show at noon, live music starts at 1:30 p.m., fireworks at 10 p.m.
