Big Eight showcases cross country talent
Big Eight teams had 1-2-3 finishes in both the boys and girls races at the Verona Invitational. Janesville Craig's Peyton Sippy was fourth in the girls race.

The Badgers won six events and finished with 260 points. Baraboo was second with 224 and Milton third with 218. Janesville Craig won three events and finished fourth with 186. Host Parker was sixth with 115.

The Janesville Craig High girls tennis team went 1-2 at the Kenosha Tremper Invitational on Saturday.

The Cougars defeated Delavan-Darien 6-1 but lost to Kenosha Tremper 6-1 and Lake Geneva Badger 7-0.
