9/11 memorial service held in downtown Janesville

Janesville firefighters and police took part in a memorial service at Firehouse Park in downtown Janesville on Tuesday to remember the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Small flags were placed throughout the park to represent firefighters killed in the attack.

The event also featured a dedication of a piece of steel from one of the World Trade Center buildings destroyed in the attacks that is displayed in the park.
