Milton duo leads All-Badger South
Sam McCann and Dane Burman spelled double trouble for the Badger South Conference in baseball this past season.
Burman and McCann helped lead Milton to the school’s first Badger South title and are unanimous selections on the all-conference first team.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound McCann finished with a 6-2 record as the ace of the Milton staff. The hard-throwing righthander struck out 90 in 50 innings pitched and finished with an ERA just over 1.00.
Burman’s bat helped lead the Red Hawks to a Division 1 sectional semifinal game. The Hill College (Texas) recruit was the team’s top run producer and also pitched.
Fort Atkinson junior infielder Brady Schoenherr also made first team.
