Janesville man arrested after drug investigation

— Police arrested a Janesville man on eight drug charges after executing a search warrant at the man's home, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.

Police arrested Christopher Marx, 28, of 1438 S. Pearl St., Janesville, at 9:30 p.m. Monday after a traffic stop at Center Avenue and Delavan Drive in Janesville, according to police reports. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug-trafficking place, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of Schedule II drugs and possession of Schedule IV drugs.

The search warrant execution followed an investigation of the sale of cocaine, according to the news release.
