— The Janesville Bluebirds played their most complete game of the season Tuesday night.

Ethan Eno scored twice, and Tanner Woodman had four assists to lead Janesville’s boys high school co-op hockey team to a 5-1 nonconference win over Fond du Lac at the Janesville Ice Arena.

Janesville (10-6-1) took the lead for good at 2-1 on Eno’s goal in the second period and added three more in the third.

“This was the best we’ve played all season as far as putting three periods together,” Janesville coach John Mauermann said. “We moved the puck well, got contributions from all three lines, and Michael MacDougall was solid in the net.

“We’ve been a much better hockey team the second half of the season and it continued tonight.”

MacDougall made 27 saves in earning the win.

Janesville hosts Sun Prairie on Thursday night in a Big Eight Conference game.
