-- BURGLARY to LKQ Star Auto Parts, 2010 Beloit Ave., Janesville, reported Monday. Taken were 10 aluminum car or truck rims valued at $1,000.

-- THEFT reported at 4:48 p.m. July 5 in the 3100 block of County H, Orfordville. A woman said a diamond ring was stolen from her home.

-- FORGERY reported at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of County J, Janesville. A woman said she was given a fake check for an item she sold online.

-- BURGLARY reported at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday in the 8100 block of Highway 14, Evansville. A man there told police someone entered his apartment and stole DVDs, CDs and stereo equipment.

-- BURGLARY reported at 12:55 p.m. Friday in the 6200 block of Highway 11, Janesville. A woman said someone broke into her home and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,000.

-- BURGLARY reported at 10:12 a.m. July 4 at Horizon Methodist Church, 1726 S. Murphy Road, Orfordville. The treasurer reported someone broke in and stole cash from the church office.

-- BURGLARY reported at 9:08 a.m. July 4 at Days Feed & Supply, 14203 W. Spring Valley Road, Orfordville. The owner reported someone entered his business and stole about $830.

-- BURGLARY reported at 9:15 a.m. July 5 in the 11000 block of North Church Street, Evansville. A woman said someone broke into her home and stole about $194.

-- BURGLARY reported at 11:57 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Jefferson School Drive, Janesville. A man said someone entered his home and stole jewelry and electronics valued at about $1,075.


-- A 15-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE GIRL at 8 p.m. Sunday at her home on charges of burglary. She also is charged with theft of less than $2,500 and damage to property.


-- BULLARD ROAD AT TOPPER ROAD, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Union Township. Gary J. Gilbertson, 47, Madison, was eastbound on West Bullard Road when he veered off the road and struck a culvert. Gilbertson told police he turned to look at his dog in the back seat and took his eyes off the road. He was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, where he was treated for a broken leg and dislocated hip.
