NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, LLC plans to locate a new 82,000 square foot production facility in Beloit.

The $194 million facility will create over 150 jobs by 2016. NorthStar is expected to break ground by mid 2012, with production starting in 2013. NorthStar Senior Vice President Glen Isensee says the company was attracted to Beloit because of the need for transportation and reliable electrical power.

The company produces radio isotopes for medical imaging.
