— Hits keep falling like rain in a summer storm for the Milton Junction Pub Raptors.

The Raptors pounded out 18 hits and drew 12 walks to rip Lebanon, 15-7, Sunday in Rock River League South baseball. The Raptors have 38 hits in the first two league games of the season.

Josh Shere led Sunday’s hit parade with a solo home run. Tom Scalissi and Scott Steinke ripped two-run doubles and Eric Steinke added a three-run double in Milton’s six-run eighth inning.

Milton starter Brett Fredrick posted 12 strikeouts and 11 walks to notch a complete-game victory.

The Raptors host the Madison Rockers for their home opener next Sunday.
