Man charged with selling fake cocaine

— An Elkhorn man is charged with three counts of selling phony cocaine to a police informant.

Allen Cook, 28, of 505 E. First St., Apt. F, is accused in a criminal complaint of representing aspirin and caffeine as cocaine in November.

Cook is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 3 p.m. Feb. 25 before Walworth County Judge Robert Kennedy. He is being held in Walworth County Jail.
