A 45-year-old Janesville man may have hopes of seeing daylight outside prison, after reaching a plea deal in a murder case.

James Humphrey pleaded guilty in Rock County Court Thursday to a charge of Reckless Homicide in the shooting death of 30-year-old Sam Aegerter last summer. Aegerter was shot while riding in the back of a Jeep near Five-Points intersection in Janesville. The attorney's in the case are recommending 20-years incarceration and 20-years extended supervision.

Sentencing is set for April 14th.
