Beloit students win Destination Imagination competition

— A team of students from Beloit Memorial High School is ready for the upcoming global challenge in the "Destination Imagination" competition. The team took first place in the recent state competition.

District spokesperson, Melissa Badger says the students had to make a device that could lift objects over a six foot high brick wall and place them on a series of objects on the other side. The judges were impressed with the students technical knowledge in their explanation of their task.

The winning students are, Joshua Handrich, Patrick Gathof, Andrew Linson, Demetruis Spidle, Daniel Leubke, Melissa Gile, and Lauryn Lindahl.
