LAKE GENEVA—A Badger High School janitor is being accused of sexually assaulting a student.

Alfredo Sandoval, 68, is charged with felony sexual assault of a student by school staff.

Sandoval, 956 Henry St., Lake Geneva, is accused of sexually assaulting a female at the high school on May 1, according to a criminal complaint.

Sandoval reportedly admitted to a Lake Geneva Police detective that same day that he had inappropriate contact with a female student and said he "made a mistake and asked for forgiveness," the complaint states.

Sandoval, who was arrested May 1, is out of jail on a $10,000 cash bond that was set May 2, according to an official at the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.

Part of Sandoval's bond agreement is that he not have contact with the high school, its students or the victim.

Sandoval made his initial court appearance Wednesday at the Walworth County Judicial Center.
