SULLIVAN—A flood watch has been issued by the National Weather Service, Sullivan, and is in effect from 7 p.m. Sunday through Monday morning.

The watch includes portions of south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin including Rock, Green, Walworth and Jefferson counties.

More heavy rain is expected this afternoon and tonight.

The heaviest rains of around 2 inches tonight are expected in the south. Due to the saturated soils and the half to 1-inch of rain in the south areas Saturday night, the additional rain could cause flooding.

There is an increased potential where these areas could see many rivers and streams approach or exceed flood stage and other general lowland flooding is possible.
