Body found in Jefferson County cornfield identified as Milwaukee woman

JEFFERSON--The body found in a Jefferson County cornfield in March has been identified as a Milwaukee woman.

The body of Alejandra Guzman-Flores, Milwaukee, was found by a passing motorist Saturday, March 29, according to a Jefferson County Sheriff's Office news release.

The 23-year-old was last seen by her family Oct. 5, 2013.

The motorist called the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office dispatch after seeing something out of the ordinary just off North Road south at County CW in the town of Ixonia.

The driver went to see what it was and found the body, according to a sheriff's office news release.

The investigation into how the woman died continues.

Jefferson County authorities say anyone who had contact with Guzman-Flores on or around Oct. 5 or anyone with information about her death may contact Detective Tim Behselich at 920-674-7314 or call the anonymous tip line at 1-800-78-CRIME.
