JANESVILLE—A Fitchburg woman is dead and five others injured after a one-vehicle rollover crash Monday morning on Interstate 90/39 at Humes Road and Highway 14, according to a Wisconsin State Patrol news release.

Shondra Lynette Morbley, 36, was taken to St. Mary's Janesville Hospital where she was pronounced dead. She was a passenger in the vehicle that was driven by Terrace Dimitris Thomas, 31, Madison.

Thomas was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Morbley was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the release.

Others injured in the crash were: Shanae Ranette Morbley, 33, Madison; Dominique Quenetta Johnson, 29, Madison; Jeffery L. Harris, 31, Chicago; and Benjamin J. Roebuck, 34, Madison.

Shanae Morbley was taken to St. Mary's Janesville Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Johnson, Harris and Roebuck were taken to two Janesville hospitals but were not injured.

The crash happened at 2:45 a.m. Monday after the 1997 Pontiac that Thomas was driving failed to negotiate the curve when exiting the Interstate at the Highway 14 off ramp, according to the release. This caused the car to roll over and come to rest on the driver's side.

The crash shut down the Highway 14 on/off ramp for nearly three hours.

Janesville police and firefighters provided assistance at the crash that remains under investigation by the State Patrol.
