Jordan Himley scored two short-handed goals during the same third-period penalty, and the Janesville Jets held off the Coulee Region Chill in NAHL action at the Janesville Ice Arena on Friday night.

Himley’s goals, both coming while Zach Avolio sat in the penalty box for a high-sticking penalty, gave the Jets a 3-0 lead, but the Chill fought back with a power-play goal by Blake Kelley and a full-strength score by James McGing with 11:50 to play in the third.

The goals were Nos. 14 and 15 on the season for Himley, who has taken over as the Jets’ leading scorer following the departure of Michael Louria.

Brock Kautz saved 36 shots, including 13 in the final period, to preserve the victory.
