Jets top first-place Fighting Falcons

With a new-look roster after trading leading scorer Michael Louria to Minot during the week, the Janesville Jets converted three of their five power-play chances Friday night to upset the first-place Port Huron Fighting Falcons, 3-2, at the Janesville Ice Arena.

Tyler Rehm scored the first Jets goal halfway through the second period on an assist from Alex Smith. Port Huron took a 2-1 lead at 9:23 of the third period through Logan Lambdin, but Robin Hoglund scored the tying and game-winning goals for the Jets within 41 seconds.

The Fighting Falcons and the Jets meet again tonight at 7 p.m.
