JANESVILLE—Jason Biever, 33, Janesville, was arrested on a charge of fourth-offense drunken driving Monday morning, according to a Rock County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies stopped a pickup truck at 1:02 a.m. Monday in the area of Highway 11 and Avalon Road after receiving a traffic complaint of a truck in the median, according to the release. During the traffic stop, a deputy smelled an odor of intoxicants coming from Biever and administered field sobriety tests, which Biever failed.

Biever also was cited for prohibited alcohol concentration, according to the release. After submitting to a breath sample, his blood alcohol concentration was 0.19, over twice the legal limit for operating a motor vehicle.

Biever was processed and released from the Rock County Jail to a responsible party later Monday morning and issued an upcoming mandatory court date.
