Richard T. "Dick" Houge, 67, of Williams Bay, WI, passed away on December 21, 2013 at UW Madison Hospital & Clinics. Richard was born in Edgerton on September 25, 1946 to Dale and Lorraine (Armit) Houge. He graduated with honors from Edgerton High School, serving as president of his class in 1964. He earned a pharmacy degree from UW Madison in 1969. He enjoyed playing drums and was awarded the first John Philip Sousa Music award for Edgerton High School. He attended Badger Boys State and was a member of United Methodist Church and president of its Youth Fellowship. He married Kathryn Cahill and together they had a son, Ryan. He owned and operated Williams Bay Pharmacy and Gift Shop, before working for Walgreen's for 25 years. In July 2003 he married Linda Spath and together they made a home in Williams Bay. The family is grateful to Linda for the loving care she provided him. The family would also like to thank Dr. Walter Longo for the care and compassion he showed Richard.

Richard is survived by his wife Linda, son Ryan, stepson Keith (Olevia), brothers Tom (Sue) and Jim (Barb), and several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Edgerton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Fassett Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, EDGERTON are assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial is being established in Richard's name.
