September 1, 1960 - December 14, 2013

Kevin L. Ripp died unexpectedly after a long battle with a stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor on Dec. 14, 2013, at home. Kevin was born Sept. 1, 1960, in Stoughton, WI, the son of Virgil and Evelyn (Hookstead) Ripp. Kevin had been farming pretty much his whole life on his family farm. He had farmed with his family and friends and continued to do so as much as he could until the time of his passing. Kevin knew the land and how to nurture it, he loved to watch his hard work grow and he loved to harvest when the time came. Kevin also loved nature and to watch the animals in the field. He loved to drive the tractors; and when he could no longer drive them, he still loved to ride along.

Kevin is survived by his siblings: Allen (Shelby) Dewey, Virgil Ripp of California, Bruce (Gloria), Roger Ripp of Beloit, WI, Richard, Nolan (Barbara) Ripp, Kristeen (David) Farberg of Janesville, WI, Vivian (Charles) Martin Jr. of Pennsylvania, and Cherie (John) Ripp of Evansville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil; mother, Evelyn; his brothers, Robert and Donald; his sister, Kathleen Ripp; and his nephew, Chad Farberg

Special Thanks to Kevin’s Lifelong Best Friend, Pat Beggs, who helped in his greatest time of need. Also to all of Kevin’s friends that helped Kevin through thick and thin - we will never be able to thank you all enough for your help and support.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at the WARD-HURTLEY FUNERAL HOME, Evansville. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the FUNERAL HOME.
