The Janesville Jets broke out their brooms heading into a holiday break.

They fell behind by two goals but scored three straight to sweep Springfield, 3-2, at the Janesville Ice Arena on Saturday night.

Janesville is now 14-14-1 and moved within one point of Springfield for fourth place in the NAHL North.

The Jets trailed 2-0 well into the second period before they finally broke out. Alex Shuchuk and Carson Vance found Bryan Kronberger for a shorthanded goal nine minutes in to break up the shutout.

Two minutes later, Vance scored a goal of his own to tie the game.

In the third, Michael Louria—who assisted on Vance’s goal—completed the charge by giving Janesville its first lead.

Jets goalie Logan Halladay made 32 saves to earn a victory in his sixth straight decision.

The Jets are off next weekend before returning for a home-and-home series with Coulee Region beginning with a road game on Dec. 27.
