Charles L. Chivers, age 84, of Waupaca, WI, passed away suddenly on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at his residence. Charles was born in Hustisford, WI, on April 17, 1929, the son of the late Lawrence and Elsie (Kaiser) Chivers. He worked for many years in the Janesville area in residential building. On Sept. 15, 1945, he married Georgia Hallett and she preceded him in death on May 12, 1981. Then on March 20, 1982, Charles married Jane Adriaenssens in Waupaca. He is a member of First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca, and loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and working in his yard. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his wife, Jane Chivers of Waupaca, WI; his children: Diana Baker of Tampa, FL, Cheryl (Lon) Harris of Menominee, MI, Londa (Tony, Sr.) Farrell of Janesville, WI, and Rev. Charles (Debbie) Chivers of Waupaca; his step-children: Jay Adriaenssens of Amherst, WI, Jill (Michael) Borkowski of Wild Rose, WI, and Jodi (Chad Gretson) Adriaenssens of Waupaca. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his 1st wife, Georgia; two brothers; two sisters; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. at FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH in Waupaca. Burial will follow in the Spencer Lake Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. at the HOLLY FUNERAL HOME in Waupaca, and again on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the CHURCH.
