“The city transit system is important,'' said Kolste, D-Janesville. “This will give me a chance to talk to constituents who use the system while learning more about public transit.''

Kolste will board the bus at the Downtown Transfer Center 123 S. River St. at 9:15 a.m. She will be riding the following bus routes throughout the 44th Assembly District at these times:

-- Kellogg Avenue route: 9:45–10:15 a.m. This route serves Janesville's south side, including Kellogg Avenue between Beloit Avenue and Oakhill Avenue and other areas south of State Street west of Center Avenue and the 4th Ward neighborhood.

-- Milton Avenue route: 10:15–11:15 a.m. This route serves the Milton Avenue commercial corridor from downtown Janesville to the north City limits.

-- Wright Road route: 11:15–11:45 a.m. This route covers the east side residential areas of the city along and south of East Racine Street, and along Ruger Avenue as far east as Wright Road.

-- Beloit-Janesville Express: 11:45–12:15 PM. This portion of the route serves north-central Janesville along Parker Drive, Kennedy and Black Bridge roads.
