Janesville Parker’s girls volleyball season came to an end Thursday when the Vikings lost at Kenosha Tremper, 25-13, 25-13, 25-14 in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal.

“They were a very solid team,” Vikings coach Kathy Bullis said. “They had some nice outside hitters. In that last game, we were ahead 9-3, but we played so inconsistent. It catches up with us.”

Senior outside hitter Kristin Dallman led Parker with six kills and four blocks. Senior setter Claire Fox had eight assists and two aces, while junior Sidney Litke had 14 digs.

“We kept seeing progress all year,” Bullis said. “Litke was making plays defensively that we weren’t making earlier in the year. We’re looking forward to her coming back. Ali Gorman is hitting the ball hard. We’re making strides.”

The fourth-seeded Trojans (22-17) will host 12th-seeded Waterford in the regional final 7 p.m. Saturday.
