Milton High swept the doubles matches en route to a 6-1 victory over host Janesville Craig in a nonconference girls tennis match Tuesday.

Kaylee Rossing's 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles was the lone Cougar victory.

“This was a last chance to tune up for the Big Eight Conference meet on Thursday,” Craig coach Bill Peyer said. “I thought we'd have a little bit better showing. We knew Milton is decent, especially in doubles. They are comparable to Madison La Follette; strong on both sides.”

The Big Eight tournament will be at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
