Beloit College falls to Grinnell

GRINNELL, IOWA—Big Foot High graduate and Beloit freshman Mason Dixon rushed for 219 yards, but the Buccaneers lost to Grinnell College, 42-17, in a Midwest Conference football game Saturday afternoon.

Dixon’s 60-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter got Beloit to within 21-17 of the Pioneers, but Grinnell scored the final three touchdowns to pull away.

Janesville Craig graduate Nathan Brault got one pass for 13 yards for the Bucs. Brault also carried the ball once for two yards.

Both Beloit and Grinnell are 1-2 in the Midwest and 1-3 overall.
