JANESVILLE—Police with a search warrant arrested two Janesville residents Monday on charges of marijuana trafficking.

Officers came to the door of 715 Kellogg Ave., No. 1, at about 1:15 p.m. Monday. The search warrant stemmed from an investigation into allegations of marijuana sales at the residence, according to a news release issued Thursday.

Police said they seized 4.5 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia related to the packaging and sale of marijuana and $116.

Two small children living at the residence were placed with Rock County Child Protective Services.

Two residents of the apartment, Crystal M. Baumann, 33, and Christopher J. Baumann, 32, were arrested on charges of delivery of marijuana and running a drug house, police said.

Christopher also was arrested on charges of possession with the intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
